Bubba Kush

The Bubba Kush strain was born somewhat by accident in the early 1990s in the garden of Matt 'Bubba' Berger. Known to his friends as Bubba, Berger discovered a phenotype called Kush, a hybrid from a cross with Afghan Kush that grew naturally in the mountains of Afghanistan.

He decided to experiment indoors with Kush varieties, but a Northern Lights plant grown in the same room ended up mixing with his Kush plants. As a result, Matt Berger ended up with several seeds that gave birth to the legendary Bubba Kush, a predominantly Indica flower.

Bubba Kush plants are characterised by dense, resinous buds and a sweet, earthy aroma. The buds are dark green with purple highlights and covered in shiny trichomes.

The effects of Bubba Kush are generally considered to be relaxing and soothing, with a strong feeling of drowsiness and an increase in appetite. This is why it is often used to treat stress, anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain and appetite disorders.

Thanks to all these characteristics, Bubba Kush has become one of the most popular and respected strains on the cannabis market since its creation. It's also popular with growers who appreciate its genetic stability and disease resistance, seeing it as a benchmark variety for Indica cannabis cultivation.
